I was delighted to have won an A4 Portrait watercolour book from Hahnemühle for submitting Rambling Rose inspired by The Chelsea Flower Show in their prize draw. It was interesting to test out the paper which is 200gsm cold pressed. I normally use 300gsm hot pressed. However, I rather like the effect my granulating watercolour made, and how my new ‘toys’ gouache paints behave. I wonder if anyone will recognise the shape ….
