First attempt with pastels - Lessons learned (other than improvement in drawing & technique) , need a wider range of colours in palette and the paper is pastel paper but designed for pastel pencils and does not have enough 'tooth' for soft pastels. We live and learn

I started attending a weekly Watercolour workshop after retiring in December 2014. I also enjoy working with graphite pencils, sometimes supplemented with watercolour pencils. I also use charcoal, pastels, Inktense, pen & ink, and coloured pencils.
