Having treated myself to some water soluble graphite pencils, I thought that I would try them out with a sketch drawn from the LP magazine, as an exercise. This is my first attempt with water soluble graphite and, with practice, I think that it has potential.

I started attending a weekly Watercolour workshop after retiring in December 2014. I also enjoy working with graphite pencils, sometimes supplemented with watercolour pencils. I also use charcoal, pastels, Inktense, pen & ink, and coloured pencils.
