I like the colour contrast between the yellowy ball -stage centre left and the purple cloud -stage right.

This, to my mind, is what painting is all about! What a beautiful painting! I love the way you have captured the mood of the sky, the cloud formation and, of course, the light. I also enjoy painting seascapes, although, here in Australia, the colours are somewhat different in our skies. Once again, a beautiful painting!
