I really admire your wildlife art and your approach to colour

Wonderful painting with matching colours. It has strong character!

I've only ever seen these in a zoo (Bristol Zoo, as was, where my uncle Vic was a keeper); and now and then, the hyenas would laugh - although in their concrete-floored cage, behind iron bars, it wasn't easy to see what they had to laugh about. I'd much rather see them in their natural habitat: and at a respectful distance. Adventurous use of colour - and it works.

Brown Spotted Hyena. They are the bone crunchers of the bush, leaving no waste in their wake. To some they are the Quasimodo's of the wild. I think they are magnificent - so I painted Shenzi (his name stolen from THE LION KING ... apologies).
