Glennis you have really captured a wonderful expression here - superb study

Thank you Michael for all your comments on my paintings

As I have tried painting many dogs in watercolour I know how patient you have to be not to mess them up, the expression in his eyes is wonderful - I have started using my laptop and going in close to get the eyes done as I find it difficult sometimes from photos, but yours are brilliant

Norah thank you for your comment. I start with the eyes because if they aren't right no need to go any further.

Posted before, I know; and he's as gorgeous and splendid a dog this time round as he was the first time; a really, really impressive and touching painting. He's probably just pondering how to get his chops around a tempting morsel, but he looks as if he's contemplating the ills of the world and how best he could resolve them.

Robert many thanks for your kind comments. I enjoyed painting him.
