Where is the Cat by Glennis Weston

Brilliant. I had a dog who could fit through the cat flap but the cat would ambush him as he came through. This reminds me of them. Lovely work.

Oh, this is so funny! We had a dog that did exactly that and finished up dislodging the cat flap and walking round with it around his middle! The cat escaped! Beautifully observed painting Glennis.

Super work Glennis, love those typically Labrador eyes! And your work on the coat

Hee hee - Labrador jowls ..... usually dripping with saliva: went to a meeting in someone's home: there was a huge old Lab there, who introduced first his teddy ("Look, this is Teddy! He's mine: I'm just showing him to you..") then his rabbit ("Look, look, this is Bunny!" [soggy thrust at all of us] "he's mine too, you can't have him!") - Council official there in smart suit cringed into the corner of the living room as this old chap pushed his soft toys at us, dripping with spittle - happily, I was wearing old trousers: council officer wasn't, and lost his creases in a sea of dog-flob....... Happy days....

This is just brilliant, Glennis! A scene all too familiar to dog people, and so well drawn. The eyes are just superb, and the expression is priceless!

Oh Glennis this is just brilliant, just love his beautiful face.

Fabulous Glennis, love his/her gorgeous eyes.

Made me smile - just hope he didn't get his head stuck in the cat flap! Great portrait.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Robert you have some wonderful stories you should write a book. The way you described your Lab I have this picture in my mind and I had a good chuckle, thank you,
