This is beautiful Glennis, those roses are stunning and definitely do not need a background as they stand clear and proud all on their own. (if you know what I mean LOL )

I can't imagine any background that would enhance what you have already got. You have put a lot of work into this and it shows in its beauty. I am very jealous!

I think it works well as it is Glennis. If you did put in a background it would need to be very subdued but I'd leave it. Really beautiful painting. Thanks for your kind words on my painting too.
