Really like this Glennis, I love pencil work and a bit of colour. Great bee.

Yes,me too.Very nice

I think it's lovely also, Glennis. Love the delicateness and the contrast of the bee.

I really love this Glennis, the bee perfectly compliments the pencil drawn flower.

Great detail on the bee and the transparency of the wings works really well.

What a beautiful combination of techniques, Glennis, love it!

This is a charming study Glennis, especially the Bee.

A lovely piece, Glennis. I like the way the bee stands out against the black and white flower drawing. It's simple, yet very elegant.

Thank you so much for all your comments

Having just read everyone's comments, there's nothing more to say, Glennis. I love the bee!

What a lovely combination and they look so striking together, I love it.

Jane and Val - many thanks - enjoyed doing this, probably produce a couple of small paintings on a similar theme at some stage in the future

So Simple - So Effective - love it glennis

Thank you Denise for your comment

Ditto! Hi Glennis! I've just gone thru your portfolio and your love of animals and flowers shines thru in your paintings. I especially loved this one 'Spring Buzz' because its simple but outstanding - I also love pencil drawings and your bee supplying the colour was brilliant - good painting of the bee as well I might add! The others that stood out for me was Catnap and Handsome Beast!!

Eileen - Many thanks for your comments on my paintings and taking the time to look through my portfolia

This is great, it would make a brilliant card, you get a real sense of the bee coming into land.
