What a refreshing change to see an Avocet not in the normal classic pose. This is a really nice rendering of the bird Glennis, love the highlight on the eye brings it alive, as does the plumage, the whole thing is beautifully drawn love it, I personally like the colours on the bird as they would take the reflections from the mud etc , nice one.
