Lovely Wren

Glennis what a superb painting of a Wren, the colour and brushwork on the plumage is outstanding and I love the way you have got one foot slightly off the wood instead of the standard pose. That tiny spot of light on the eye brings it to life, brilliant, love it.

This is beautiful, Glennis. Love the warm colours you've used set against that cool green background, a perfect combination.

Excellently done - we have one of these living in the base of a fig tree - she flies out and grabs a tempting morsel,then back in again, driving the landlord's little terrier mad (is it a rat, is it mouse, is it a plane? Can I eat it.?). Your little bird is very much alive.

Thank you for the comments, we also have one in our garden by our pond, but so quick have never managed to photograph it .
