Love it Gillian. A place dear to my heart and you have portrayed a great sense of distance with a very rich palette.

Thank you Carole, it’s very dear to me as well, I have done painting classes in the East Devon art society in Fore street, a lovely studio. It’s very sad about the cliff erosion, only seagulls sit on that beach now. It was hard painting the sea orange instead of blue.

Like how you have portrayed the water on the beach.

Thank you Carole I used acrylic white to portray the spray.

Lovely colours, Gillian, especially in the bottom half, I like the way you’ve painted the water against the rocks in the foreground.

The sandstone rocks have turned the sea orange where they have slid into the sea. I took the photo last month on holiday . Please advise if it needs tweaking.
