You are very good at capturing drama Margery, that sky is wonderful. It looks like oil(?) but also pastel, again could I ask which medium.

Thank you Fiona it is actually oil but I used it very thinly as I find it easier to get subtle tones that way - still experimenting really so am very encouraged to hear your comment

I agree with Fiona, you have some really dramatic paintings, I also like to use watercolour pencils from time to time and find them great for birds and flowers.

Thanks Linda; am using watercolour pencils (which I love) to try and develop portrait skills - lots of trial and error going on but some have worked out
