Lovely colour palette

I’ve been trying to put my finger on the style of your recent paintings George and finally, looking at this one I’ve got it. It reminds me very much of Monet. The softness of the palette and the way you have applied the paint.

Many thanks Fiona, your comments are always welcome. Looking at my recent paintings, they do look to be inspired by my liking for the work of the Impressionist artists, Pissarro and Monet in particular, and I appreciate what you say in your comment. I am enjoying painting these at present.
