It has impact because of the beautiful limited palette - lovely resolution of the portrait Geoff.

The face has so much warmth and contrasts so well with the cool greys and whites Geoffrey.

Thanks very much for the positive comments, Heather, Tessa, Spencer, Russell, Stephen, Marjorie and Carole. Julie does look a bit unhappy, which she isn't; sitting, staring into space can bring this about is suppose. I finished it on her 60th birthday, and am relatively happy with it, as is Julie.
