Super work Gary, amazing for an art class work, that's some teacher you have there! When you say was intended to be in inktense, I guess you mean the art class was working solely in inktense in that session, adding pastel afterwards was your idea, well it worked! The sea is superb!

Pastels over Derwent Inktense on watercolour paper 12x8". This was an artclass exercise in depicting movement and is from a photo of my daughter on the beach in Barmouth. It was originally intended to be in Inktense but I was not happy with the sea so I decided to addpastel on the top, much better!

I am an amateur artist and work in various media but favour acrylics, pastels and coloured pencils. I work full time as a Chartered Engineer and art is my relaxation. I am a member of the Codnor Art Club which was formed in mid 2014 when our adult education class closed after our teacher retired.
