Pastel on Ingres paper, 16X20". I painted this one during the pastels workshop at Art In Action. After an hour or so of practice I had around 50 mins to paint a still life fron the range of objects in front of me. along with three others I decided to paint the sunflowers and was quite pleased with my quick sketch, even my wife liked it!

Gary Austin
I am an amateur artist and work in various media but favour acrylics, pastels and coloured pencils. I work full time as a Chartered Engineer and art is my relaxation. I am a member of the Codnor Art Club which was formed in mid 2014 when our adult education class closed after our teacher retired.
