Acrylic on canvas 12x4". This picture sums up being a leisure painter for me. After a long day at work I painted this in under hour and totally releaxed. It brought back lovely memories of our summer holiday in Southwold as my reference photo was taken on out last evening there as we walked along the sea front at dusk. I kept trying to photograph the birds flying in front of the moon but they never did. In the world of my painting however I finally got the image I wanted. For the sea I also experimented by using silver mixed with cerelean blue and a hint of viridian. This really gives the sea some sparkle, though it is not obvious in the photo.
