I know it well! We have a holiday house at Great Walsingham and spend a lot of time over in Norfolk. I love windmills - they are such an iconic shape. This reminds me of that American artist - Warren Kimble. He paints New England scenes and building in this country naive style. I have two of his paintings on my walls at the Norfolk house as I love them so much. I think you really have something with this way of painting - it's clean and sharp and very attractive. Google Warren Kimble and have a look.

Painted in acrylics, like all my paintings in the gallery, this is losely based on Burnham Overy Mill in Norfolk. Not one of my best but I enjoyed painting it nonetheless. I used Photoshop to try out the fence first before painting it in as I was undecided whether to add it or not. Glad I did, I'll use this technique again!
