Kingfisher's snack

Beautiful Kingfisher watercolour painting Linda, the colours are stunning and love the way you have used feint traces of the lavender/blue of the bird in the water it is perched over, gorgeous details of the feathers and eyes as well and on the branch with the greenery on it, using such a vivid and vibrant deep orangey yellow on its front works so well as that is the ideal opposing colour to the rest of the bird.

Hi Linda, smashing portrait, love the detail, not only the Kingfisher but the branch and moss. What really pulls it altogether is the way you have haloed the bird and the colour co-ordination to match the kingfisher's subtle tones. In my view an extremely well constructed composition, wish it was me that had painted it.
