You're doing well, Fred. I like the contrast between the textured forms on the left and the solid terrain on the right. It's a good contrast and works well together.

This is lovely, Fred - as Seok has said, a good contrast between textures on left and right, and the colours work very well with just that touch of green.

I think you've got the hang of it Fred! Knarled tree roots and sand dunes.....do more!!!

And it's well worth getting to grips with, because it can produce incredible richness and clarity of colour - I don't do it myself, but admire those who do; the only reason I don't use it is the equipment needed, the expense, and the space - not very adventurous of me, but there we go... Look forward to seeing where you go with this, it's a very interesting picture with a lot to engage the eye.

Love the textures in this one Fred Nd the colours.
