Lovely bright acrylic rendering of the European town Fred, lovely work

Thank you Ros. Much appreciated.

Lovely watercolour - super colours.

Sorry - senior moment - it looked like watercolour but I see it is acrylic.

Sunny and bright looks a very historic place with those lovely towers.

Good painting Fred and good figure work. People always bring a painting to life and yet are often left out! I like the open door in the foreground as well which balances the scene nicely.

Thank you all for your nice comments. Glad you mentioned the door Louise because I wondered If should leave it opened and glad that I did. Also wondered about including the lampposts which I left to the last minute. Being ancient and modern and central to the composition it worked.

The lamppost works as well Fred. It's all well balanced. I always feel that a painting needs a few strong verticals!

Lovely scene, Fred. You've really created tension in the focal point that draws the eye straight into the painting.

Thank you Seok.
