Thankyou Karyl and Marjorie. I did struggle with this a bit, even using a pallete knife and made a complete mess, but that's the beauty of acrylics you can just paint over it all and start anew!

This is just lovely, Fred. You've captured the atmosphere of Capri in spades, and I love the way you depicted the atmospheric perspective. It's really effective. And thanks very much for prodding me out of my indolence!
