Hello, I love your portrait...do we all peer over our glasses? Mine are always half way down my nose. I,ve still to do a self portrait...one day I'll be brave. x

This is a painting that I started a couple of years ago, put it aside and forgot all about it, so decided to complete it. It is a self portrait. Acrylic on canvas.

Fred Elwell

Born In South London now living in Hampshire. A self taught artist although I did attend evening classes at The City and Guilds of London School of Art. As they didn't teach painting in artificial light I had to be content with life drawing two evenings a week. I also did all day on Sundays but…
