Great to see your first of the year, Fred! It's beautifully done - lovely palette, great light and atmosphere. There's something in the painting that does so effectively convey the sound of the solitary music against the silence.

My first painting of the new year. These are buskers playing in the beautiful square of Santa Margherita. It was almost empty but the sound of the alto saxophone and accordian echoing across the square was really evocotive.
