Lovely painting Michael, full of athmosphere

The orange and blue tones work very well Michael. It looks finised to me - simple and effective

This is lovely Michael, not just the story that's being told but the lovely sunlit corner. I agree with Pat - looks finished to me.

Thank you all so much for your encouraging comments, but who is MICHAEL?

Thankyou Jane about the sunlit corner. This is pure invention on my part because it was a very dull day and of course the photo was completely dead. The trouble with taking photos on touring holiday's is that you are at the right place at the wrong time of day.

This is fabulous, Fred - another painting full of joie de vivre. Your use of the orangey-siennas against the complementary blues in this painting is really brilliant. It makes the scene so very vibrant and really accentuates the centre of interest. Well done!

A lovely composition Fred, extremely well painted.

Thank you Seok. I use cadmium orange mixed with white and a little yellow ochre, it just gives that edge.

Well I am a Michael but I certainly didn't paint this lovely piece - wish I had - Congrats Fred on a great piece.

Thank you Fiona.

Thank you Michael.

Very well done Fred. I love the complimentary colours, a great subject.

Love this just the way it is! Well done :)
