You've portrayed the dappled sunlight beautifully, a lovely summer painting.

Really like the blues in the path and shadows. A very fresh, summery feel.

A beautiful painting of light and shade Fred, you can almost feel the welcome cool of the tree canopy.

I agree with everyone, lovely painting,

Another super piece, Fred. And I'm green with envy, as I usually am of anyone who can paint a predominantly green painting! It's lovely how you managed the trees without allowing the color to overwhelm and dominate. And the sunlight is beautiful.

Thank you every one for your wonderful comments, and Seok,I might be wrong but I think having the bluish path helps to quieten the greens don't you think?

This is a pedstrian footpath leading to the out of town Sainsbury's at Basingstoke. You forget that on the right is the A30 and on the left is a housing estate. It was a lovely morning with dappled sunlight, squirrels and birdsong. In the winter with the snow and frost it is a wonderland!
