Another old cinema of Singapore 1956. This is drawn and painted on mount board so doesn't take kindly to water.

Another gem, indeed Fred! And in your very distinctive black and white style, which is a favorite of mine. And it's another beautiful piece for the archives, because Capitol Cinema closed a few years back! The building is still there but it is no longer a cinema. Thank you very much for your comment on my painting, and thank you too for being an inspiration. Your paintings certainly caused me to relook at many familiar places with a fresh perspective, although whether i will do anything with that inspiration is another matter. I am always full of good intentions, just not great at sitting in the hot sun to suffer for my art!
