Thanks all for your kind comments...they are done mainly with Watercolour Pencils, with just some of the main areas smugged with pastel, on black paper stock. Did you also see my drawings of People in War...I put a lot into this one, and this is again done on this time 360 gsm watercolour paper (Langdon)...with base drawing of watercolour pencil, then Art bar (which is a watersoluble thick medium, and then highlighted with pastel...using all these madiums gives me a great freedome within the art, and gives great light effects. Figure Drawing Devon is my UK site with most of our work on! Actually I do use the best pancils Derwent, but I have also found that the budget pancils from WH Smith give great sharp lines, as they do not go soft! ta ta
