A fantastic likeness

lovely fresh portrait - and I recognised her straight away

Again - while I haven't studied Kate Middleton at all, I've obviously seen here on television and am impressed by this likeness: I just wonder how the official portraitist so signally failed to capture it, and conclude that he was intimidated by the scale of the task.

Thank you for your kind comments...I just had to draw this portrait in soft pastel to try to capture the freshness of Kate, which may have been lacking a bit in other portraits. Bear in mind I only had a small internet photo to go by.
