just lovely Frances... :)

Thank you Cheryl. I can't find you on FB, maybe you could make a friends request to me? If you would like :)

Beautiful, super work.

Lovely unusual work France's

Frances - I've looked through the whole of your gallery/portfolio and it is all simply stunning. Your use of watercolour is amazing and I can certainly aspire to ever be that good but heavens know if I'll make it!!! Your self portrait is photographic and amazing and I love the sheen of your hair. As for the horse, Elizabeth is too critical as a horsey person and not an artist, as has been said before to do a white horse on a white background is a feat and one I'm not sure I'd tackle. Superb.

Thank you Jane for your kind comments. I only started painting 9 years ago, but I do paint most days and strive to be better. I guess we all want to be able to paint or be as good as someone else. But for the amount of years I have been painting I'm pleased with my progress. I seem to be getting a lot of support for the (what I would call, Harsh) comment from a so called fellow artist and I thank you for that. I'm all for constructive criticism, but that comment was just plain RUDE. Anyway I'm not going to use any more of my valuable time on someone who doesn't know their Airbrush from their Easel! I'm going to have at your work now Jane, I'm sure it will be wonderful. Thank you for your support. Keep painting x

This is a detail from one of my favourite works by Leonardo da Vinci. I thought I would give it a go... It's watercolour, pastel pencil and chalk. I loved doing this picture.
