You are very beautiful Frances....and your work is beautiful as well....such a talented artist! I should be so lucky, to be as good as you some day! Yes, I think the comment on your white horse was the one that convinced me I need to say something. I am a horse person, been around them for a good many years of my life...my father raised Arabians, so yes, I would notice if perspective was off. But I sure wouldn't judge someone's work harshly because I am a horse person...kinda not very fair! I am sure the artist knows somethings off and doesn't really need to be told....right? I rest my case :) take care...look forward to seeing more of your work soon! ps. how long have you been painting? Your Pieta is just stunning....

Well, thank you Cheryl for doing that for me, I don't mind criticism but the comments she made in my view where just damn right rude. Anyway I see our comments back have been deleted. Where as I am going to leave my comment from her for everyone to see. I have been painting for nine years, I joined a local art group and became hooked and I have never stopped since. I now run my own watercolour class and teach 100 students a month. Are you on Facebook Cheryl? I thank you again Cheryl, and keep painting. X

Great self portrait Frances, and your gallery is superb! And the woman you were talking about left a similar comment on my shire horse pastel, but that didn't surprise me that much, after getting an email from admin at this website saying they had 'numerous' emails complaining about my 'rude' and over critical comments to others, and I have noticed since most, I repeat most comments on here seen o have been toned down, so I am thinking maybe others have had similar emails from admin, I can't really believe that would have been only sent to me after some of the comments I have seen on this website!

Yes, I'm on FB Frances...cheryl.nielson.9.....wow, excellent, you are an instructor...no wonder your work is so good!

A great portrait of a beautiful woman! Great gallery too Frances.

This is captivating. Not just because of the subect matter, but in particular the alluring way in which you've captured the whimsical gaze. Just sufficiently understated to let the viewer muse on the reason for the expression and the on personality behind it.
