I had just logged out when I caught sight of this painting and then the Spring Flowers that precede it. I just had to log back in to tell you how absolutely beautiful I think this painting is. Such glorious colours and so expertly rendered. And that goes for the Spring Flowers as well!

Absolutely gorgeous, Carole! You really infuse such life into your flowers and the form of the rhododendron is beautifully captured. Whatever the actual color, I love the palette of this painting!

Saw this unusual coloured rhododendron in a garden centre, don't think I have done the colours justice!
