Great to come back on the website & view your superb watercolours again Carole.

Had to log in to tell you just how much I like this...er...doodle. It's a beautiful painting, Carole, and I love all your work.

Lovely painting, I like the composition.

Both subject and style are distinctly oriental - and exquisite.

From your description I take it that this didn't take long to do. As often happens, to me anyway (sometimes), these quick paintings work out so well and this one is absolutely lovely! I do like the loose background with the paint running down the paper and the contrast with the more carefully detailed flower head. Beautiful work!

If this is a 'doodle' then I am very impressed as it looks like a very polished painting to me! Really lovely and done in your usual expressive style.

Lovely watercolour Carole, and the background just makes the flower stand out so well, love it.

Thanks very much all, very kind of you to leave a comment. I have been 'dry' of ideas lately never mind producing anything worthwhile!

This is just so lovely and delicate.

So delicate and pretty - a delightful painting

Stunning Carole, I love that fluid background.

STUNNING, Carole! Gorgeous flower against a backdrop of hard and soft edges and subtle, muted shades. So very beautiful!

Thank you Karyl, Helen, Val and Seok, really appreciate your comments.

Playing catch up again!! Really lovely work Carole - it's all been said...!

Soft and delicate......beautiful watercolour Carole.

Thanks Debs and Fiona, very kind of you.

There's nothing dry about this one; beautiful and fluid.

Keep doodling! This is beautiful Carole.

Thanks Gudrun and Sarah.

Beautiful Carole. I love the loose approach here.
