This was painted from a personal photo of part of the gardens of a Sydney hotel. The gardens provided a peaceful, cool oasis in the heat. There was actually a lot of spray from a waterfall at the right hand side of the garden, and also around the stepping stones. The spray rather defeated me, and I tried to portray it by spattering the waterfall area with a toothbrush loaded with a little of the dark background which showed through the water, trying to emphasize the lighter spray. I overdid the dark colour. 1754 x 1240
