Really like how you've done this, leaving the eyes as they are gives an almost spectral look to the cat

I felt this cat had a mysterious look. A friend suggested me to paint the cat's white markings onto black cardstock. Thank you Marjorie and Heather.

If you'd shown this to my grandmother, who had ailurophobia, she'd have screamed... so I'd say this a pretty convincing cat.
