A lovely piece of work, the shadow from the tree is going to the right which conflicts with the direction of the grass shadows, you also have another shadow from the tree going in the same direction of the grasses, i wondered if this was as seen on site?

A scene which caught my eye in the Alps. White of snow is the paper. It was very difficult for the camera to pick up the subtleties in the painting, it was adjusted in photoshop but lost some detail. I was looking down upon the scene, the steepness of the slope was not easy to portray. The light is from the left and the shadows were thrown in different directions to the right of the tree and below it, due to the contours of the snow which you can only just see (in the reproduction) are the same direction as the grass shadows. This is accurate to the scene and was part of what caught my attention.
