I would be mesmerised watching large groups of Eiders interacting with one another in Clachtoll bay when I lived there. I love their call, makes me laugh when I hear it, sounds like Frankie Howard….lol A beautiful watercolour of this charming bird Emma, and the pinkish blush is perfect.

The main group of eiders is a bit further south, at Redcar, but this one obviously wanted some quiet time…just him and the seaweed. Watercolour on Arches CP, 14x9".
