Chaffinch in the morning sun

Chaffinch in the morning sun

That's beautiful Emma, we have seen 5 of these gorgeous birds this morning round the bird feeder a sure sign that spring is on its way 😀

This is lovely Emma, we have a flock of about 30 coming every morning for their breakfast and I love to see them.

Blimey Margaret, how do you feed them all?! I guess they know they're onto a good thing...Linda, I get five, same as you 😄

This is beautifully done Emma. The composition, the pose, the painting. Love it.

I saw a male with his crown raised like this in the garden this morning.....think he was threatening another male by the look of it. Lovely watercolour Emma.

Really beautiful Emma, you captured him well. I was listening to the song thrush this a.m, he always starts tuneful singing at the beginning of Spring.

Thanks everyone - good to know that the birds are doing well in your gardens too!

There is something really appealing about this chap.

Thank you Gudrun - he did seem to be enjoying the sun!

Thank you Dermot.
