tortoise by Elizabeth Appleyard

Three accomplished drawings, this one attracted me because I used to keep a tortoise and know a) what characters they are, b) that you have to really know what you're doing to look after them properly, because sadly I didn't, and she is no more.... It was a long time ago, but I still feel guilty about it!

A lovely series of drawings. Love the tonal work and the detail, and I really enjoyed looking through all your drawngs on your gallery.
