Study after Christian Hook

It is certainly very like Christian Hook's painting and done on an iPad, eh - very impressive. However, is it ok to copy another artist's work quite so faithfully and post it on an open site? I actually thought you had posted a section of CH's painting.

I think as long as it is reffered back to and acknowledgement given to the artist it is ok to do Thea. It's when people pass stuff of as their own. Christians work is exceptional and this is a clever copy. But I expect you can do great stuff of your own.

I believe you were one of the contestants in the Sky Portrait Artist of the Year - am I right? I see what Sylvia is saying and of course she is right. You did attribute it to Christian Hook, so I stand corrected.
