This came out of a simple exercise called "cleaning the brush off". I had finished an acrylic piece and needed to get that excess paint off the brush. So instead of just washing it I take a sheet of paper and really go for it to get that paint off. And sometimes you get the beginnings of a thing. Like a tree. So you you finish it.
