I rather like the 'blocky' approach you've used here, strong and big shapes, no fuss in the foreground so the eye goes straight to them: no wavering or uncertain lines, good counterchange and tonal contrast. I could happily live with this on my wall.

Thanks for the encouraging feedback everyone. I tend to have a preference for strong contrasts and blocks of shape and colour.
