This is an attempt to paint a strange dream I once had. I was surrounded by inky blackness with absolutely nothing in it - sort of floating but nowhere at all. After a time a light patch grew and grew until a round faced woman stared intently at me without sound or emotion or expression. This seemed to go on for a couple of minutes until she and the light faded away again leaving the total darkness.
