Great picture, good flesh tones.

A very good painting Bob with a harmonious palette.

Thank you for your kind words, Carole and Stephen. Very much appreciated

A painting of a plaster statue of 18th Century ballerina Giovanna Zanarini by John Baptist Locatelli. The statue is in the beautiful Knole House in Sevenoaks, home of the Sackville family. Painted with a limited palette of indigo, cad red, burnt sienna, Van dyke brown and warm white. Reused canvas so the surface is a bit lumpy. Oil on canvas 18” x 14”
