An excellently painted portrait. The lavender fields seem a bit superfluous, though.

I really appreciate your comments Fiona, Heather and Barrie. Thank you very much. As to whether the lavender fields are superfluous, I take on board what you are saying Barrie, but that is where she was at the time, and I needed to show her outdoors in the sunlight to justify the shadows on her face and shoulder.
