Thanks Carole and Frank for your comments. Always very much appreciated. The likeness is close enough for jazz so I would not be embarrassed giving the painting to my daughter-in-law.

You'll know how good a likeness you have, Bob. What I'm seeing is a charming portrait of a young child. I think youngsters are the most difficult to paint. A great expression on her face. Excellent work.

I’ve been wanting to paint my granddaughter for a while but not been very successful with babies in the past. I loved this image of her so I put my worries aside and gave it a go. 10”x 8” oil on canvas
