I Love him, Dorothy. This must have taken ages to do on black paper. His mane is beautiful.

Thank you Carole and Jennifer. Yes Jennifer, it took ages and I have to say that patience is needed. I have learned a lot through doing these on black paper though and am still enjoying it. At least 6 layers are needed for this effect and the pencils have to be soft. I have tried various pencils but some just don't work on this paper at all. And of course, there is no room for mistakes in the drawing because it doesn't rub out.
