The brush looks as though it gives beautiful wet washes Dermot, you also have the detail, a very versatile brush. Yes I know they are expensive but worth it when you can produce paintings like this.

Certainly well worth the purchase, Dermot, but then again, you could use a broomstick and would still produce a stunning work! Superb palette, lovely composition and wonderful transition of washes. Well done!

I bought a nice Isabey mop brush and gave it a work out this morning this is the result painted very quickly wet in wet , it's a lovely brush to use and also comes to a great point ......I better not tell the wife how much I paid for a mop ??
