Yes and thanks Dennis. I got into it via a roundabout route,there was no tuition but they were all around, in two studios, models clothed or not, took your choice. Rather daunting as they were all very good. I asked questions all the time and some were quite sniffy about answering, but others who I have since met again when attedning Wapping Group exhibitions were charming and helpful recognising an amateur in their midst.

A week painting in oils from life with a bunch of professionals, I managed to get in on, weird! Some were a bit precious . Very hard work 8 to 8 with lovely meals and of course art speak all hours. Names I knew of from magazines and exhibitions present and Tom Coates who I admire took ill so wasn't present. Learned a lot! This was after I had finished my work and had some time so did this study of another artist.
